Ever gaze at the stars? No? Not even with all of your travels, you have never just gazed at the stars from one of the other planets you have landed on young walker? Well after this tale, you might want to gaze at the stars yourself and see what you can discover. For today, I will share with you my tale about my brief glimps at what I call The Star dragons and the mages that fought with them.
When I first arrived at the planet known as Kamigawa, it was an amazing sight to see. War lords in control of vast armies some of their stronger generals having powerful abilities. The leaders for each was in charge of a mighty dragon. Each one of the dragons seemed to have come from the stars themselves, and were known by many as the star dragons because of this very reason. Not knowing what I would encounter, I set out on an exploration across the planet. It was night fall, cold with very little light from the moon. As I came over a mountain range a battle had erupted beneath the mountains between two armies. I could tell one had the power to command the lava from below, must be a red mage in charge there. The smaller army was raising the dead meaning they had command of death, a black necromancer mage was in charge there. It struck me as odd as first, why was the necromancer’s army so much smaller than the red mage’s army? Then I saw why! Above in the night sky was a dark snake like figure. Moving around in the moon light a clear vision of this mysterious beast was finally able to be seen…
It was none other than Kokusho, the Evening Star dragon! This black mage clearly had the power to summon force one of the mighty star dragons. Gazing even more astounded by the power he could wield,he over powered the enemy army like it was nothing.

Such deadly power to control at one’s will. This was a very strong mage able to cast a necromancer’s greatest death spells and command such a powerful dragon. Moving away from the battle, I continued to explore more knowing I will encounter more battles along my way. After a some rest for the night, day two of my exploration began. Continuing my exploration, I set travel yet again ready in the early morning. As the sun started to rise I could glimpse another war being raged. This time it looked more like a practice battle. A green mage trying out some new spells as it appeared. But something was unique about this mage. As the sun started to rise, I noticed another dark figure overhead. I started to wonder was this Kokusho making an arrival from the black mage? No. This mage had the power to command what seemed like another star dragon! This one was known better as Jugan, the Rising Star dragon. This dragon had the power to give five of his best men a power boost if should fall in battle. Not that an army commanded by a green mage needs more power, just adds insult to injury with overwhelming power.

In control of staggering power and such fast spells this green mage seemed to just keep pushing hard to master them all.Keeping my distance as not to get attacked I pushed onward. I came to the outskirts of a small city that had proud symbols resembling that of people who practice white magic. Renting a small room from a tavern, I decided to stay a few nights here. Life seemed to be buzzing as the morning came on my fourth day and everyone was starting to from a crowd at the center of the city. Curious I followed them and saw a young man standing center of a circle of elders. He was soldier from the looks of it and was standing at attention while the elders where conversing between each other. Then suddenly, the oldest member came forward and asked the young man to turn around facing the crowd. The elder pointed to the sky and a yet another mighty dragon came gently down to the grown. He faced this young man and nodded that he gave his approval to the eager soldier. The crowd rejoiced at this and shouted “long live Yosei, the Morning Star!” . This mighty dragon Yosei promoted life from the information I could gather, I slowly began to put together a list of typical spells he might grant the young soldier.

I decided I needed to keep moving forward on my adventure. The sun itself was starting to set and dusk was starting to take hold for my fifth night on Kamigawa. A small camp set up for a group of soldiers where just on the horizon. Thinking nothing of it, I attempted to quietly pass through not wanting to cause trouble. This was almost a fatal mistake for me. Their leader was awoken and charged at me letting loose a fury of red spells. I at least knew he was a red mage and did avoid his attempts to burn me where I stood. He shook the ground beneath me storing up mast amounts of mana ready to summon something terrible. But what on this planet could he possibly be casting with such great mana? I fell trying to escape and noticed yet another mighty dragon was in sky! He shouted with great force “Ryusei, the Falling Star, burn this trespasser to a crisp!” Getting up as fast as possible, I sprinted at what could be my exit from this battle and cast my own spell. Letting loose the power of Unsummon it bought me enough time to make my get away. I managed to put together a list of possible spells that came my way from this great mage. I did not want to get in his path again, making my list I could always keep track should our paths cross again.

Towards the end of my travels, there was finally a large body of water ahead of me. Renting a boat, I attempted to cross the water to a large section of land in the distance. There seemed to be a great naval fleet out on the waters. Logically it made sense the think it was the army of a blue mage in control. Dusk was slowly fading into the night marking my sixth night on Kamigawa. The tide was beginning to pull away from the shores. The naval fleet I had seen were traveling further out into the sea with one ship in the very rear. Swimming right next to the ship looked like some sort of sea serpent. It was with great force that this serpent came out from the sea and revealed that it was in fact a rare blue dragon. He watched me travel the sea almost to my destination as the general he followed summoned him to follow. A great voice calmly commander “Keiga, the Tide Star we need you.” Keiga calmly followed and I could hear a war raging over the seas.

With flashes of blue spells a list of the spells used was created to document the encounter with Keiga. Truly some powerful generals exist on Kamigawa. Some you should not take as likely as others you may meet on your journey. These last thoughts on my mind, I cast my spell and decided to planswalk back home to record my journey.
