Heaven's Light VS Necro-Troll
The heat of the day begins to fill the air. The sun's rays shinning bright waking everyone up with warmth and lights of a brighter day today. Excitement begins to take over many of the audience in attendance. This should turn out to be an exciting match up today. Everyone is talking about it taking guesses on who they believe will win. Merchants open up their stands as the streets start to fill up rapidly. People clamming and getting their breakfast as the stands are filling up the announcer takes his place in the middle of it all...
Standing in the middle of the arena is a short man wearing a pair of purple pants streaked with red in them. A dark red button up shirt and a very long black trench coat he smiles and pushes his sunglasses up the bridge of his nose. The hair on the side of his balled head is shaped to a point on each side of his almost like his head is a triangle.
" Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages! Today we welcome you to another great match and it will be one you won't wanna miss. Today we welcome the master of death himself and the angel like cleric who is on a war path. First up let us welcome Varolz, the Scar-Striped!"
From the tunnel entrance comes a squeaking noise. The sound of a chariot being pulled by something. Then from the shadows everyone sees it. A hoard of zombies are pulling a very old and damaged chariot into the arena. Standing in the middle of it is Varolz himself holding the reins in one hand and keeping his tattered cloak over him. There must be twenty or so zombies pulling him slowly into position , he is a very large troll after all.
"Yes uhm well creepy as always Varolz. Now we must welcome our second warrior, everyone keep your sunglasses ready she tends to make the entrance her self. "
In the sky above everyone hears a familiar noise that sends chills down many spines. A thundering roar of only kind of beast. A dragon! A look of pure terror shines on many faces in the crowd as all start to look around in desperation to avoid it. Suddenly a bright light in the sky glowing a brilliant red comes into view. As she gets closer , everyone can see it is Kaalia of the Vast being flanked on her left by a large demon and to her right a monstrous dragon. Kaalia lands with great haste ready to slay her foe and as she lands an angel comes into view from the rear.Her minions if you will land near her ready to jump into action.
" Wow ladies and gents she sure can make an entrance don't you think ? Well let us get this show on the road, warriors..........CLASH!!!!!"
Varolz wastes little time to make a move. Summoning out his Glistener Elf out to do his dirty work. Kaalia's eyes glow and a smirk comes across her face as she then sends out her Mana Vault. The elf charges in for an attack drawing first blood in this fight.This immediately draws Kaalia out to the battlefield as she is somewhat annoyed at this attack.
" I have to say I'm not so sure that was a good thing to do on Varolz's behalf. Kaalia seems angry now, I wouldn't want those reds eyes looking at me. " booms the announcer's voice saying what many in the crowd had been thinking.
Kaalia glows her brilliant red again and charges in for an attack. Varolz holds up one of his giant hands and glares at the cleric.
" Do you really think it is this easy ? I had anticipated this attack and have a way to stop this, behold my spell Putrefy!" Varolz speaks with a sort of grizzled softness to his voice as his spell vanquishes Kaalia halting her attack before it even begins. her rage now grows even more and her next move is carefully being drawn up. Varolz in the mean time summons out Tel-Jilad Fallen and sends forth his elf for another attack.
Kaalia glows again now filled with rage and sends out one of her more powerful demons. Rune-Scarred Demon is now standing tall for its master ready to devour all that stand in his way. Varolz lets out a small snarl and sends out his Golgari Grave-Troll but it immediately dies. Everyone who doesn't know the troll's power seems to be confused. The hard truth is, that is exactly what he wanted to have happen.
Kaalia sends out another spell, this time it is the spell Buried Alive. A play that has seen her win many of battles and it is sure to set up another exciting end to this little game of hers. Varolz uses his dead troll's power to do just what he needs it to . Fill the graveyard with weapons and then Varolz makes his presence known on the battlefield ready to fight Kaalia. Kaalia makes her decision very carefully, and sends out her spell Dread Return. With that spell, her Reya Dawnbringer now stands beside her demon ready to do her work.
" Enjoy a slight breath of relieve troll of the undead, as I have only just started this battle. I have fought stronger foe than you and you will fall before me!" Her voice a mixture of soothing to one's ears yet a hint of rage under it.
" Ladies and gentlemen, I warned you this was a match you wouldn't wanna miss and so far it has not been a disappointment. The only question is, who will be the victor in the end?"
Golgari Grave-Troll has made his reappearance and is ready to help his master take down Kaalia. But Kaalia has other plans in mind. Her Dawnbringer brings her Utvara Hellkite back from the dead and then she turns up the heat. In a flurry of spells, Kaalia sends out Mardu Banner Journey to Nowhere to exile the Grave-Troll and finally Victim of Night to dispatch Varolz himself. Her demon then charges in with no competition dealing significant damage to the undead troll.
" Wow! What an explosive move from Kaalia ! I know she is able to pull out moves like that but wow. How about that one folks???" The announcer's voice thunders through the crowd, everyone jumping to their feet for the first time. Some even begin to chant her name . " Kaalia Kaalia Kaalia master of heaven's fire!"
Varolz comes back yet again and is now showing a touch of anger on his face. Eager to show this holy cleric he will not be out done by her. This time Kaalia comes to the battlefield as well. Her pet dragon, Utvara Hellkite, charges in to attack his prey again and with it he will bring a no named dragon to keep up Kaalia's defense. Things are starting to look very bleak for the undead master himself.
Grisly Salvage manages to grab Korozda Guildmage for the necromancing troll. Using his own power, Varolz builds up his Glistener El's power up and removes the Phyrexian Soulgorger boosting its power to a staggering ten! Kaalia lets out another smirk and begins to speak to her foe again.
" You have made some impressive efforts to stay alive necro-troll but things have begun to seal your fate. With this next move it very well may be the end for you. The light of heaven above and the rage of my won will extinguish you from this world. " A very cold, and well thought out speech by Kaalia. So cold it sends chills down everyone's spine, even with her soft voice.
Clouds have covered some of the sun by now, and it makes what happens next just the more impressive. Her eyes and tattoos glow an evil dark red as she unleashes another torrent of furious spells. Rakdos Charm is the first one, dealing damage to the troll for each of his undead that he controls. Next Kaalia charges in and with her she brings her whole army including a very powerful angel and tends to mean death for all who see her. The long black leather dress and strange white glowing spear being wielded by a snow white haired angel. It can only be the power of Avacyn, Angel of Hope !
The crowd roars to life! Everyone has seen this angel come through for Kaalia many times and she has never let her master down. The attack goes through without missing a beat and the end has finally come for the powerful Varolz.
" There you have it folks! Kaalia has yet again put another victory in her belt. I am not sure anyone can stop her from being this years victor! Well done Kaalia, until the next round!"
The announcer finishes his closing statements and everyone watches as Kaalia takes off with her demon one side, the dragon on the other and now everyone knows Avacyn in the rear.....
