      What has an entire world under quarenteen? The answer is simple,the Phyrexian.  Phyrexians are powerful life forms that have an ability to infect what ever they touch or who ever they touch.  The infection to most life forms is a poison to them . There are many who have been infected that sucome to the infection and die.  Yet some don't die from the infection but rather mutate into a terrifying being that only spreads the infection as it lives...

Young planeswalker, I share with you this information about Mirrodin to keep you on your toes. Don't be affraid to travel to this world, but be cautious as you travel this world. There is one being on the planet that has been growing in strength. He is simply known as The Mimeoplasm. He himself doesn't have infect, but the army that he commands all have a form of infect. Why is Mimeoplasm deadly then? Its his ability to absorb any two creatures that have been sent to the graveyard. By selecting any creature that you have killed earlier in the battle with infect he begins to infect anything to death. But there is a twist, Mimeoplasm can select another creature that same time he joins the battle and get a power boost too. Behold the power of The Mimeoplasm young walker!

Mimeoplasm commands an army that can infect mass life forms in even the smallest of battles.  Phyrexian mana flows in his veins as he does their dirty work spreading the poison. Mimeoplasm has a relentless attack strategy when in battle. His way of thinking is infect everything he sees with poison. To make life either mutate, or cease to exist. To poison any creature or being in his path to the point of death. Starting out slow is easy, all he needs is for either the mage he faces or even the army in his path to get one poison counter. Just one poison counter gives him access to to another key ability that he commands. The proliferate ability. By activating this ability from the various sources under his control, Mimeoplasm can speed up the disease drastically.

The Cure?

The next question you have is a simple one. What can I do to cure myself of this poison? It is hard to get the poison out of your system young walker and the easiest thing to do is not get it at all. There does exist a creature you can call upon that prevents infection to both you and your army. Her name is Melira, Sylvok Outcast.

 

She is a very powerful legend that has been through tough times against the Phyrexians and their infection. Chainbreaker can remove -1/-1 counters from your army. The creature known as Quillspike can also do this but gains a +3/+3 for each counter he removes.  Woeleecher will gain you life when ever you remove a -1/-1 counter from any creature. There are no ways just yet to cure yourself of the infection though young walker. Sometimes the easiest strategy is the best, in this case don't let yourself get infected.
