A Twist in Fate?

Fear was not something I am used to feeling. That would all change in a flash before my very eyes. He has appeared and was confronting me in battle. The ultimate evil is in front of me. His magic flowing from his body ready to deal death to those in his path. Could I live or would I die in this battle? Only one way to find out. This battle will be recorded for those who may come across him next, may you have either the same luck or better when you clash. My battle begins now!

A thunderous sound echos through the skies, a bright flash of light all is blinding. What has just happened?

" Mistress Sakashima, there is a strange powerful force coming from the north east." 

" What?! Well we must investigate this matter!"

My servants were right they just didn't know how right. He is here! The root of all evil in our multiverse is here, but what does he want with out plane?

"You! Yes you will do my bidding mage and will do so for the well being of your plane."

" No, I refuse to obey a horrible monster like yourself!" Taking a gulp of courage my next words may be among my last.

" I challenge your power. If you win I will serve you, but should I win you leave this plane never to return."

" Haha, if that is what you wish foolish mortal. You underestimate the power I command."

" I underestimate nothing Nicol Bolas!" " You will lose this battle!"

Gearing myself for battle is hard to do when the ultimate evil, Nicol Bolas is staring you down. I must face him. I just need two spells and he will be down. The question is can I get to it before he destroys me?
I haven't a spell to help me right now, so maybe I can get lucky with him not getting his spells either.

" Foolish mortal, I can tear your mind to shreds with one touch." " You think you have what it takes to beat me?" Bolas chuckles away as his battle plan begins to unfold, using the magic of Index to get things started.
It isn't great, but at least I have something on the field. Prismatic Lens should help me get things going. I still need my key spell to end this though.

Nicol Bolas only summons forth Hissing Iguanar while all I could do was play my Pristine Talisman and get ready for the next spell. Yes, Mulldrifter will at least give me some defense from his creature. Now what can he do next?
Bolas only grinned leaving his mana open to use against me if I should play a spell. Truly an evil controlling dragon. So I will do the same and mimic his way of thinking. Again the mighty dragon just grinned and left his mana supply open. What could he be thinking?
Grozoth! I managed to get a way to find my key spells, this is perfect!

" Enough of this game of silence dragon! I will use Grozoth's transmute ability and turn this battle into a different direction!"
" Do as you wish pathetic mortal, it won't change the outcome."grinned the dragon with confidence.

There! I have them! Goblin Charbelcher and Mana Severance, plus I even grabbed Counter Spell. No doubt Bolas would want to counter both of these spells. This battle will be over soon enough.
 
" Enjoy your pathetic short lived victory mage, it will be your last." growled Bolas.

Alright the time is now!

" Fear the power of my Charbelcher dragon!"
" Why fear it, when I can just counter your spell with Mana Leak."
" Because I will counter your spell using Counter Spell."

In a flash of counter magic it was over. The Charbelcher was on the battle field and quickly followed up by Mana Severance. Could I do it? Can I be the one who takes down this evil beast?

Again another skin curling grin, Bolas has something up his sleeve but what? There was an answer shortly after this question. Wrecking Ball. With one shot, he has destroyed my precious Charbelcher.

" Well now that is taken care of, shall we continue this battle or would you rather surrender?" gloats Bolas.

" This isn't over yet! I have one more trick up my sleeve dragon." a sinister grin formed on my face, I could feel it growing. I know my next move, but it appears he doesn't suspect a thing.

It happened so fast that evil this great knowing being was caught off guard. Argivian Restoration has returned my Charbelcher back to the battle. With extra man up to counter anything he may play I end this battle.
Channeling three mana, the Goblin Charbelcher goes to work. Dealing a deathly blow, Bolas has been defeated. I've done it! I have taken down what many others could not!
But wait, why and how was he still standing??

" Enjoy this pointless victory Sakashima, for this was mearly a clone of myself. A weak clone at that. It appears I have undestimated the resistance you would put up against me." the clone was falling apart, flames wrapping around it as its true golem form began to show.

" I will return Sakashima. Victory and your world will be mine. My full power will be restored and I will be the most feared being alive!" the creature has turned into a smoldering mass.

What could this dragon be planning next? I must find Jace and send him this word fast. Him and the other Guardian Walkers will want to hear this.

" Spread out! We must get this to Jace and the others, make Haste." " Yes my mistress. "

It is over, I have survived the evil of Bolas. May the others learn from my experience. I may have gotten lucky this time but others may not be as lucky. Take this scroll and may others have as much luck as I have.
